FAQs

  • No! You will never pay a fee for Footprint Placements to find you a role. Instead, on top of your full pay and incentives, we provide courses and training.

  • Absolutely! You will need to send through your academic transcript or final placement assessment with your application. We provide training and support to ensure your transition to remote life is as smooth as possible.

  • To apply, you need to have the relevant teaching registration/s with the applicable state, or the ability to obtain one. Most states also have an option to gain mutual recognition if needed.

  • We are currently providing placements for Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland. If you are a school from outside these states, please contact us to discuss how we can work together.

  • Footprint Placements provides Trauma-Informed Practice in Education to all candidates (Australian Childhood Foundation). This eleven module self-paced learning program provides an overview of the neurobiology of trauma as well as a framework for effectively responding to children and young people who have experienced trauma.

    Candidates with one term (or more) contracts will be provided with access to a cultural competency course (Stronger Smarter Institute). This self-paced course encourages you to reflect and explore ways to enhance educational outcomes for Indigenous students.

    Candidates with six months + contracts will have access to Mental Health First Aid training.

  • Many schools are able to cater for families. This may include housing, relocation and sometimes even employment. Each school is different.
