Hi guys! We’re Georgie and Ben.
Adventure is in our blood! Our remote journey started in a community school in the Far East Pilbara. For a span of four years, we then criss-crossed the Australian map, through rugged landscapes blanketed in spinifex and red dirt. Unforgettable moments included navigating the Gibb, Tanami, Central Arnhem Road, Central Australian Road and the corrugations to the Tip. We’re excited about the amazing teachers who have contacted us, eager to make a difference, and the partnerships we’ve formed with schools spanning NT, WA and QLD. The prospect of matching passionate teachers with remote and unique positions, fuels our enthusiasm. The adventure continues, and we can't wait to share it with you!

Hi there! I am Georgie, the face behind the emails and messages – I'm often the one you'll initially connect with at Footprint Placements. I love to get to know you and help find the best role for you! Behind the scenes, I wear multiple hats—from supervising advertising and promotions to overseeing software and financial management, all the way to crafting engaging content.
As an Accredited Professional Recruiter (APRCSA) with a foundation in education, my time in the East Pilbara region strengthened my commitment to strong educational outcomes for remote students. In my role as Head of Campus and teacher, I managed the day-to-day running of the campus and developed many programs and initiatives whilst maintaining high attendance and strong academic results. I believe all remote students must have access to supportive and knowledgeable teachers who encompass high expectation relationships, to enable them to fulfil their academic potential.

If you've undergone an interview for our pool or been on the lookout for a teacher for your school, chances are you've crossed paths with me, Ben! I'm responsible for overseeing a number of our client portfolios and conducting candidate interviews. I’m excited to have been awarded Best Recruiter in Education and Childcare, based on teacher and client reviews (Sourcr).
I have seven years experience working in remote schools, in various capacities. In my previous position, where I provided business support for a school, I managed communication and coordination among staff and stakeholders, ensured compliance, managed statistics, logistics, and handled funding requirements. Additionally, as a Ranger Coordinator in the Far East Pilbara, I successfully built a ranger team, where the intergenerational transfer of cultural and environmental knowledge was a primary goal.
